OKLAHOMA CITY – The Mid-America Christian University Lady Evangels and Central Baptist College Lady Mustangs will square off tomorrow (May 10) and if necessary on Wednesday (May 11) in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Central Regional for the right to advance to the NCCAA World Series, to be held May 18-20 in Roanoke, Va.
The regional is a three-game series, starting with a doubleheader tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Jack Allen Field. If the Lady Evangels and Lady Mustangs split, the deciding game would be Wednesday at 1 p.m.
MACU is 26-25 under fifth-year head coach Robert Wakefield, while CBC enters the regional at 27-30 under the guidance of first-year head coach Kristen Drage.
