OKLAHOMA CITY – 30 Mid-America Christian University student-athletes from the sports of Baseball, Men's Basketball, Men's Golf, Women's Basketball, Women's Golf and Softball have earned a spot on the Sooner Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference team, as presented by Cypress Risk Management.
To qualify for this award, student-athletes must be maintaining a minimum 3.25 grade-point average during the previous two semesters and be a regular contributor (letterwinner) on their team.
The Softball Lady Evangels put a SAC-high 10 on the list, while the Women's Basketball Lady Evangels were tied for second in the league with eight.

Cypress Risk Management, based in Omaha, Neb, is an insurance agency that specializes in providing customized solutions for collegiate student health and athletic accident insurance. The organization currently insures over 500,000 students nationwide and is already engaged with several other NAIA conferences in similar type of partnerships.
