OKLAHOMA CITY – Mid-America Christian University softball head coach Robert Wakefield has announced another early signing for the 2018 season in P/1B Carlee Geissler.
Geissler, a native of nearby Moore, Okla., earned a Gold Glove and also received the Team Slugger award the past two seasons.
Geissler helped the Moore High School Lions to three regional championships along with a state runner-up finish.
"Carlee is a great young lady that can play different positions for us," Wakefield said.
"She will play pitcher and first base for us and her leadership characteristics are what makes her a great player and leader on and off the field. We are very fortunate to have Carlee in our MACU softball program."
She is the daughter of Terry and Deana Geissler and plans to major in Elementary Education at MACU.
