SALINA, Kan. – The Mid-America Christian University men's golf team was back in action on Monday morning at the Kansas Wesleyan University spring invitational. Scoring conditions were good on the first day of the 36-hole event, and MACU showed marked improvement from their struggles of their first spring tournament a week ago.
The Evangels shot a team score of 305, placing them sixth of the nine teams participating in the field. MACU was one of seven NAIA squads in the tournament, and among the NAIA schools, MACU sits fifth entering the tournament's final round.
