OKLAHOMA CITY – On Monday afternoon, the Mid-America Christian University baseball team took to the field in an unusual circumstance – the resumption of a suspended game. The Evangels headed back to Dolese Park to resume the second game of their series with the Southwestern Christian University Eagles, trailing 4-0 heading to the top of the third inning.
MACU (12-27, 6-14 SAC) plated six runs in the top of the sixth inning, but it was not enough to overcome their slow start, as SCU (25-12, 12-8 SAC) held on for a 9-6 win.
